  We had a great time at this rental home. The property is clean and well maintained. Sally and Hunter w/ Abrams were friendly and a breeze to work with. We rented kayaks and paddle boards from Persimmon Tree/Island Paddle board on Marine street where they delivered to our dock. (Pam was helpful with rentals) We walked to Main Street for dinners and across the Ferry to rent a boat one afternoon. Our family loved it!

  We gathered our family for Christmas at this lovely Balboa Island house in order to have the holiday with our son and his wife, who live just over the bridge in Newport Beach. The house was beautifully appointed, with a surprisingly well-equipped kitchen. The location could not have been better - right on the Grand Canal on the Little Island side. The two upstairs bedrooms were spacious,with doors to the upstairs balcony, and the first floor bedroom was much smaller, with the bathroom oddly split (the shower and sink in one room, and the toilet in a cubicle with a louvered door across the room - clearly the room had been repurposed).
  We greatly enjoyed the outdoor space - a wonderful front patio area with plenty of seating and a functioning fire pit. There were lots of places to walk, and the beach was a short ferry ride away. This is a perfect place to spend a relaxing week. We hope to be back soon.

  Fabulous vacation on the Little Island in Balboa. House very well furnished, comfortable , relaxing. Kitchen well equipped , extremely clean . This property use to be my grandmothers house 50 years ago so it was so nice to return and see all the wonderful improvements they have made . There are fun things to do in Balboa... Rent a boat, go for walks, great food, Pageant of the Masters is a must. Great beaches, good shopping. A wonderful place to stay. Abrams was professional and did a good job communicating. Highly recommend.

  We had a lovely stay at 300 Grand Canal. It's such a comfortable home with a lot of space. The kitchen was easy to cook in. We loved the outdoor space. The fire pit is such a great touch! Our family enjoyed making smores by it and sitting around it each night.
  We were never able to get the TV's upstairs to work. Our only suggestion is to have better instructions as to how to get them working.

  Having come all the way from Australia to holiday on the Island we were delighted with 300 Grand Canal. We have stayed at other homes in previous years but would rate this as our favourite. The property is extremely comfortable and well equipped and the outdoor entertaining areas in particular are fantastic. We spent every night enjoying cocktails on the deck or by the fire! The proximity to the village is also outstanding and the direct access to the canal was great for paddle boarding every day. Our only concern prior to booking was the lack of dedicated parking but this was never a problem. We have already booked in our return journey for next year!

  Applances needed fixing (washer) and was broken upon arrival, the refrigerator was also on its last leg and got warm from time to time. As for the property staff at Abrams, they are always professional and were extremely helpful. Will always use them when in the Newport area.
