The description of the location and the house don't do this magical house justice. The location, comfort, amenities and overall cleanliness of the house I would give an A+. This is our second time taking a family vacation in this house. Two weeks this trip. We have stayed in dozens of vacation rental houses but this is by far the best equipped for adults and young children. I grew up on the island and there isn’t a better location than this for an easy walk to Sugar and Spice for the best frozen bananas. Terrific neighbors as well. Our grand daughters enjoyed the little beach in front of the house. Plenty of sand toys and all of the fun items than you cannot pack for a trip. The house is kept up very well. We will be back again next year!

my return to Balboa with my family was just what I needed . Sun and Sea scenes are amazing . This house was centrally located and a few mins away from Marine Ave with all the resteraunts and stores . Also walking distance to the Fairy . Being on Bayfront and having a beach for my granddaughter to play and put her feet in the water made her time a happy one and mine too. Watching her and my two sons playing football made for pleasant and happy memories . This house had everything we needed and made for great meal times around the dinning room table . Master bedroom was nice and large with a full amazing views of the boats and sunsets . the roof top also had lounge chairs and private area and watching the Brillant sunsets with a glass of wine in hand was peaceful .the only thing I can think of that is negative is that we did not stay a month instead of the 10 days --- thank you for sharing this house with us I hope to be back in a year or so. We loved our stay here! We got a great deal due to it being the “off season” and we very lucky to enjoy some great weather during our stay! The house was exactly as pictured and perfect for my 2.5 year old son. He spent hours on the sand with the toys provided. The house also had bikes, paddle and boogie boards, and tons of sand toys for us to use during our stay.
We absolutely loved the rooftop, which we used quite a bit. The location is phenomenal, just around the corner from Marine Ave where all of the shops and restaurants are located.
It was a wonderful 7 Days and we plan to book this place again when we return to CA!

It's hard to beat this South Bayfront residence for its close proximity to the Island's main drag (Marine Avenue), roomy 3 bedroom, 4 bath room count plus two car garage, awesome bay views (especially from the 3rd floor rooftop deck), and clean, well furnished home. The team at Abrams (especially Hunter) do a great job updating renters on any necessary repair schedules (appliance repair in our case). Shannon makes the check-in and check-out process easy and efficient. We hated to leave this slice of "Balboa Paradise", but hope to return soon.

This is a wonderfully located home on the Bayfront of the historic Balboa Island. It has fantastic amenities such as BBQ, beach furniture, and bicycles. We had a great time walking to shopping and restaurants. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen comes equipped with everything and anything that you will need to cook full meals. The home has a wonderful rooftop deck that is very private. No need to bring board games or beach toys, this place has it all. Just a short walk to the ferry and access to the "Fun Zone" and beach. And, the two car garage is such a luxury since parking and get challenging on the island. If you're looking for a great getaway for your family this is the place! We hope to get back soon.

This home is lovely, great location and very comfortable. But when we had a problem with the DVD player, it took two calls to get it resolved. Joe said he would come by to fix it after work, but never showed up even though I saw him ride by the house on his bike. Two days later, talked with another very nice agent (can't remember his name)who came and replaced the DVD player. The layout of the home is very comfortable, and we really appreciated having the air conditioning as it was hot and humid on the Island. Had a problem with dripping kitchen faucet, but he showed us how to "hit" the handle to turn it off. . .

This was our fourth rental on Balboa Island and definitely the best location.Just a block off main street for quick shopping/dining and a nice waterfront walk to the ferry. The house was nicely furnished and each bedroom had its own bathroom - a big plus. The fenced in patio was great for our little granddaughter and was just steps from the sand/bay. The rooftop deck was amazing - a beautiful view and wonderful breezes. All in all, it made for a wonderful family vacation.

Garage was big enough to fit a large SUV, which is abnormal on the island.

The house did have 2 EA paddle boards to use (But only one paddle :( Luckily the next door neighbor was nice and let us borrow one he had.

Absolute Heaven !!! My husband was raised 2 blocks away on S Bayfront and we had an amazing time sharing the island way with our children. Couldn't have asked for a better vacation rental. It was not only first class, but also the location was perfect. Close enough to the mains St but far enough from the noise. Having a waterfront rental is worth every penny.
