Home has A/C in 3 upstairs bedrooms and living room - all portable units. Pets considered - additional $500 per week + additional security deposit and clean fee.

  117 Grand Canal is a great place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Balboa. The island brings so many activities for anyone to enjoy. Shopping and restaurants galore. Breakfast at Wilmas, lunch at Crockers and a memorable dinner at Basilic are only naming a few. A Duffy boat ride is always a fun time along with taking the ferry across to enjoy the peninsula. Would recommend this home as it is centrally located.

  We had a wonderful one-month stay on Balboa Island. The property is located on the water and one block from Marine St. - couldn't have had a more perfect location! The kitchen was very well stocked, and bedrooms were great for 6 people; beds for 2 more in room between garage and living room. We will definitely rent the property again!

  We had a wonderful week on the island! House was in beautiful shape when we arrived. I would say the only drawback for a house that sleeps 8 is that there is only one garage space and it was a lot of shuffling cars around. But that’s kind of expected on the island!

  I've been vacationing on the island for many years. I really like this lovely but practical home on the canal. Plenty of space, nice size rooms, large kitchen, great patio.   We have stayed here many years and keep coming back. Bridge construction this year but didn't interfere. We love the location with easy access to Marine and the beaches. Bath rooms are new with shower only in the master but there are two other full baths one with a tub. Kitchen very adequate with new fridge. We plan to come back next year.

  We have stayed in the property for several years and plan to stay again. Clean and well-maintained. Furniture and carpeting show some minor wear. Kitchen tile loose around the sink. New bathrooms are a major improvement. Joe and Hunter were very helpful for the very few issues that did arise. Office staff at Abrams was very helpful when a medical situation arose. Would recommend the property because of size (4 bedrooms) and the very convenient location.
