Just steps away from the North Bayfront, this home has plenty of space with an open floor plan, the front living room opens to the front patio, multiple dining areas, the back family room, as well as, the front living room have fireplaces. Equipped with 5 bedrooms and sleeping. accommodations for 10 people and 3.5 baths. Plenty of comfort with the roof top deck and front patio waiting to be enjoyed. This is a summer only rental, so let us not forget that it is equipped with AC for those hot summer days and nights.

The house is always well taken care of, very clean, and in an excellent location to town and the north bay. This year because of Covid 19 we celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with just our immediate family and they made it a summer to remember! Can’t wait to return!

  Our family loves gathering together every summer in this house on Amethyst. It is well maintained, the location is perfect! It is close to the bay, the main street,Marine, for shopping, and close to all Orange County offers. The homey feeling we get staying here lends itself to cooking together, family game, bbq dinners on the patio, and just sharing our lives in a relaxed atmosphere. We love it there!

  We have rented many different vacation homes on the island over the years and have decided this one, 320 Amethyst, is our favorite. Everything is crisp, clean, and new. The owners have thought of every small convenience item and provided it. We also appreciated the air conditioning and beautiful flowers growing on the patio. It’s also awesome that it is located so close to downtown for those Balboa bar dessert runs! We will be back!

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. The layout of the house worked well for our family and it's in a great location. The beach is just at the end of the block. Having a garage was really helpful in dealing with the parking issues on the island. The home is well maintained - inside and out. We enjoyed all our meals on the patio. We purchased beach chairs and an umbrella at a local store since none are provided. Paddle boards, etc. are available for rental on the island. The folks at Abrams Coastal Properties were very helpful.

  We invited our children and grandchildren to join us at this fabulous beach house. The accommodations were perfect. Great kitchen, beds were very comfortable, patio was spacious, and the location to the north bay and the Main street were close that the kids could walk to everything! BalBars every night was a highlight. A good walk to the ferry after dinner was just what we needed!
  We stayed in this house last year and hope to again next summer.

  This was our first stay at this home. We have rented many homes on Balboa and this was one of the nicest! We had everything we needed- the air conditioning was especially nice due to the heat wave during our stay. The kitchen was well-stocked, the two living rooms were nice- one for the kids, the other for adults. The dinning table was a great size for all of us, the front porch was inviting , and the bed was so comfy! We were very happy with our stay! Thank you to the owners- we would love to come again!!

  Our family has been vacationing on Balboa Island for over 50 years. This is the third year we’ve rented this particular home for the 4th of July week. The house is beautifully updated and comfortable for our family. We love the location close to the bay and downtown and the beautiful front patio and family room for gathering our crew. The house is immaculate and really feels like home. We’ve had nothing but positive things to say about this house until this year. The house was amazing and the Abrams staff was top-notch, but the neighbors nextdoor were grumpy and complained about us having our family over at the house to celebrate our anniversary. Luckily Shannon from Abrams came right over and resolved the issue, but nevertheless it was a bummer. We will likely look for a different Abrams Property to stay at next year, as we’ve only ever come across friendly, fun people on this special island.
