  This home at 237 Opal is very cozy. It is what we look for in a Balboa Island vacation. Clean, with a more comfortable, lived-in feel. This was our second time here and we hope to be back next year.
  A suggestion: For some reason this year there were more mosquitos around than I can remember and many of the windows were without the screens. We love to leave the windows open all the time but we were bitten a lot. Oh, well.
  I think the best compliment we could give is if we had our own Island home here, it would be a lot like this.

It was a home away from home; except this home was two doors from the bay beach, a couple blocks from the ferry that goes to the ocean, and a short walk to Marine Ave. It was quiet, clean and in excellent, if not, new condition.
